The Bunker 20 museum with the Etsch spring and the Plamort defence system are relicts of the „Alpine Wall“ which was built by Mussolini as a protection against the German Reich. Bunker 20 was occupied by the military until the end of the Cold War and there is the source of the Adige.
You can explore the fortifications on the Plamort high moor on a hike. There you will also find the 500 metres long armoured barrier with the so-called dragon's teeth.
The aim of the association is to reappraise and communicate the history of the border fortifications.
Between June and the end of September, members of the association give guided tours of Bunker 20 every Friday from 15:00–16:30.
Please bring appropriate clothing (constant 7°C)
Special tours and group appointments are available on request. Meeting point car park sports field Reschen.
